Cambridge Blue headed to the 2026 Wilson Trophy in May, with a special highlight being the return of Commodore Emeritus Emeritus Magnus.
The 3-day event was packed with racing and luckily sunny weather. Day one began with a very light wind training session in the morning, and the brought some close-fought racing, particularly against RLYC Vixens, though the result didn’t go our way.
Days two and three brought more of the same, with tough competition across the fleet. Having had limited time together as a complete team, and with the standard of racing exceptionally high, we were pleased to come away with several competitive battles and a great deal of learning.
Off the water weekend highlights were the smoothie happy hour, the ice cream van and Saturday dinner and party. We are grateful to our host family, the Bells, who provided a lovely place to stay, a cute dog, and even a very competitive game of football with their children.
