Exceptionally cold weather resulted in the Cam Cup 2018 being cancelled – the first time this has happened in its 18 years of history. Originally scheduled for 3/4th March, the decision to cancel was taken on the Thursday before the event. So, until 2019 …
By way of diversion, the Cam Cup Dinner still took place and was attended by a good many Cambridge sports people. Cambridge Purple were pleased because the cancellation and re-scheduling of the BUSA Playoffs enabled them to participate in the festivities.
