Cambridge Ladies put up a great performance to take the Bronze Medal for Universities at the Ladies BUSA 2018 Team Racing Nationals. The event was held at Lochore Meadows Country Park, Kirkcaldy on 24/25th Februart 2018. Congratulations to all the team!
Oxford put up a very polished performance to defeat their arch-enemies and winners of last year, Royal Northern and Clyde YC. They therefore took Gold for the National as well as the Universities event. Well done Oxford! Exeter finished just behind the Bronze-winning BUSA team, 4th overall and 2nd University. They were followed by Cambridge Ladies, 5th overall and 3rd University – with Edinburgh 6th overall and 4th University.
Winds were generally good for the event, though somewhat light on the Sunday morning. All 17 teams competing enjoyed a great weekend of racing as well as a very full social programme. A big thank you to Glasgow and Strathclyde for their excellent organisation of the event.
